With a degree
in journalism from University of Vermont, Wendy Nelson
has long appreciated "real life" images. Her
photographic career, spanning more than 15 years, has
been dedicated to finding the honest truth in everyone…No
Artifice!
She regularly
pursues ongoing education through seminars, workshops
and numerous associations, yet believes that the true
measure of meaningful art is whether her clients love
it! She works for them, not for ribbons or awards.
Her studio reflects her down to earth candor…a
small 1920's bungalow, lovingly restored, with a Pottery
Barn Interior that relaxes even the most uncomfortable
dad. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere casual. Kids
and dogs are frequently playing in the sunroom. A personal
consultation prefaces each session, a chance to get
to know each other, then Wendy goes to work capturing
the magic…. of you!
A longtime
Colorado resident, Nelson receives wide acclaim for
her innovation, flair and creativity. She crafts images
in Black & White, as well as Color, and believes
strongly in the continued use of real film. For Nelson,
it's about documenting her neighbors and their places…they,
in turn, love her warmth, care and responsiveness.

lives and works in a southwest Colorado Springs neighborhood.
She is your average active middle-aged, middle class,
single mother, and small businesswoman. Her favorite
hobby….? Juggling!

Linnea
Abeyta is a Colorado Springs native. She has been
in the photography business for 25 years and a
photographer for 20 years. Next to photography
she is very involved with the search for missing
children. She also loves to spend time with her
husband and 6 yr old son. At Blue Fox her talents
in production and photography are greatly appreciated.

Nicki
Nicki
Diaz grew up in the windy city of Chicago, but
has lived between Colorado Springs, CO and Phoenix,
AZ for the past 18 years. Her passions are her
8-year-old daughter and her husband of 17 years.
She has been a professional photographer for the
past 18 years and contributes her wonderful photographic
and production talents to Blue Fox.

Gerda
A native
from the Netherlands, Gerda Haley lived in the
Middle East for 3 years before settling in Colorado
Springs 15 years ago. Her background is management
in the hotel/restaurant industry. Now she specializes
in organizing small businesses financials, and
has been with Blue Fox since 2001. She and her
husband love to hike, bike, ski and travel lots.

Catherine
Born
and raised in Aspen, Catherine Brinkman grew up
in the hotel/resort business, enjoyed competitive
skiing. Lived all over the country in CA, VT and
NY. She enjoys spending time with her two wonderful
teenage boys and her 2 boisterous canine girls.
Catherine is our highly efficient front office
manager.

Sasha
Born
and raised in Lake Forest, Illinois, Sasha Woods
came to Colorado Springs for college, and graduated
from Colorado College with a degree in Geology.
She has three beautiful children and enjoys photographing
them, as well as nature and events. On the side,
Sasha enjoys playing squash, skiing and teaching
fly-fishing.
